Curriculum
Our core syllabus is that of the Jamiat ul Ulama Ta’limi Board which entails the traditional
core subjects such as Quraan, Surahs, Duas, Fiqh, Islamic History, Aqaaid, Akhlaaq, Hadeeth, 99 Names & Arabic.
Supervision and assessments are conducted consistently be the same Educational Board.
HMA is also affiliated to AMS (Association of Muslim Schools) and actively participate
in AMS initiatives and events such as tournaments, Olympiads, contests etc which run through
the year, thus affording our learners a fairly competitive edge. It is worthy to note that
lessons are not based solely on the text, but they are interactive and allow learner engagement
whereby themes and lessons are tied with contemporary issues. A special subject relating to teenage boys
and girls has been implemented & is taught by our esteemed male and female educators respectively.
Part of our motto at HMA, which also sets us apart from our peers, is that
teaching is done at school and learners are only encouraged to revise their work at home. High quality
of lessons is given great impetus in contrast to quantity. So, if you have made HMA your school of choice,
then be assured that it is your mark of assurance in quality and holistic education.
